Sarah, have you ever thought about what space really is? We are floating in an ocean of silence and memories. Look at the Orion Nebula over there… the light we see now left its source a thousand years ago. We aren’t looking at space, we are looking at history.
Sarah
You’re such a poet, Pandanio! But we’re here on an exploration mission, not a poetry reading. Focus on the dashboard, navigation sensors are picking up slight fluctuations in the gravitational field.
Pandanio
Alright Captain, I’ll focus. But look at this little thing… (pulls out an old coin). I found it in my grandfather’s archive. It makes me feel connected to a time when the world was simpler.
Sarah
You hold onto the past too much. But… fine, I admit it has a strange shine. Keep it in your pocket, maybe it’ll bring us luck like you say.
Pandanio
Sarah… do you hear that? There’s a low-frequency hum… and the coin in my pocket… it’s heating up! I feel it vibrating through my suit. Something is wrong!
Temporal Breach Imminent!
A massive time portal has ripped through the void. It’s a retro wormhole rewriting the laws of physics!
Pandanio
Gravity is pulling me backward! I’m holding onto the dashboard! Sarah, look at the center of the vortex… I see bright neon colors, and hear old electronic music… it’s a portal to the gaming world!
Sarah
I get it now! The portal is focusing its tractor beam on a single point in your chest! The coin, Pandanio! It’s the key that woke this temporal beast!
Pandanio
My pocket is burning! I can’t hold on anymore… The coin wants to return to its digital home!
Sarah
Noooo! It’s gone! The coin pierced the void like a golden meteor! It disappeared into the digital horizon… taking a piece of our history with it!
